Before assigning a Cognitive Check-In to your first client, we recommend completing one yourself. Familiarity with the assessment experience will help you understand the structure and flow of the tasks, explain the process more confidently to participants, interpret the Clinician reports more effectively, and troubleshoot common user questions.

How do I try a Cognitive Check-In as an admin?
- Log in to BrainHQ (www.brainhq.com) with your administrator account, then
- Click on the GROUPS tab at the top to go to your group
- Click on the Users tab on the left and click +Add to create a new user for testing purposes
- Click the Assessments tab
- Select the desired Cognitive Check-in from the drop-down menu
- Check the box next to the new user
- Click on the Schedule Assessment icon
- Click the Manage tab and click the impersonate icon by hovering over the new user
- Complete the Cognitive Check-in and close the window when you finish
How do I download the Clinician Report from my Cognitive Check-In?
We also recommend downloading and reviewing the Clinician Report so you can become familiar with the individual assessments included in your selected Cognitive Check-In battery and understand how the results are presented. To download a Clinician Report tailored to your battery:
- Click the Assessments tab on the portal
- Select the desired Cognitive Check-in from the drop-down menu
- Check the box next to the new user account. The new user must have completed the Cognitive Check-in within the past 8 weeks.
- Select PDF Summary Report and click Download Now
- You will receive an email with the report. Click Download Now to view your PDF(s).
