How do I redeem a gift subscription?

If you were sent a BrainHQ gift code or personal access code, read on to learn how to redeem it.

Note: the BrainHQ app does not have a feature to allow for redeeming codes at this time. If you are on a mobile device such as a phone or tablet, you will have to use your mobile browser to redeem the code on our website. Once your code has been redeemed, you can log back into the BrainHQ app and continue training.

1. Go to www.BrainHQ.com/redeem
   • Log in to your preexisting BrainHQ account if you aren't already, or create a new account.
     Be sure that if you are logged into a BrainHQ account, you are logged into the correct one. If you are logged into the correct account with the correct email address, please proceed to Step 2.
2. Type in your personal access code
3. Click Submit
   You'll know if the gift code was redeemed successfully if you receive a "Success!" prompt.
   From here you will be directed to the BrainHQ dashboard, where you can click "Personal Trainer with Daily Spark Training" to start training.

Troubleshooting

If you encounter an error while trying to redeem a gift subscription, there are a few things to check:

1. Make sure that the gift code was typed in correctly (it's usually best to copy/paste the code, rather than typing it.)
2. If the code is typed correctly, ask the sender to confirm the correct gift code. 
   
   • If the code was sent as part of a gift subscription, sending a reply to the gift invitation email will send a help request to our support team. We can see if the code has been applied to a different account, or if there's another issue at hand.
   • If the code was sent by a Posit Science employee, send them a reply asking to verify the code or to generate a new one.

Please note that if you already have full access to BrainHQ you will not be able to redeem your gift code until your current term has ended.

To see your current account status, please click your name in the top right corner of the screen and select "profile" from the drop-down menu.

From this page you can see when your subscription end date is. After that date you will be able to redeem your gift code so that you may continue training with BrainHQ.
