BrainHQ gifts are usually sent via email through the BrainHQ profile page. As a sender you may see who you emailed the gift to and if they redeemed it. As a recipient, you will receive an email and may follow the instructions to redeem it.
If you are the sender:
Log in to BrainHQ and click "Account" at the top of the page. Scroll down to the "My Gifts" section.
If you have not sent a gift subscription, it will say "Not yet sent" next to the gift in your inventory. It'll look something like this:
You can click "send now" to fill out a form in order to send the gift subscription.
Once you have sent the gift subscription, it'll show the email address that you had sent it to. It'll look something like this:
If you misspelled the email address, you can click the "send" button to resend the gift to the correct address. You'll have an opportunity to redo the recipient form.
Once the gift subscription has been redeemed, the gift will disappear from your inventory.
Tip: If a recipient is having trouble with the email you may click the "Print Gift" button to either print a paper copy of the gift email or simply call them and read the gift code to them so that they can redeem it at www.brainhq.com/redeem
If you are the recipient:
If you are expecting a gift subscription to be emailed to you, look for an email from BrainHQ. The email will list the sender, it'll have a Personal Access Code, and it'll include instructions on how to redeem that code. As an example, here's what the email may look like:
You'll know you've successfully redeemed the gift subscription if when you log in to your BrainHQ and view your profile, your account type is listed as "gift card or complimentary":
From here you will be able to train with all of the content on the website.
If you were expecting a gift subscription via email and you haven't received it, be sure to check your email spam/junk folder. If it's not there, then you can ask the sender to resend the gift subscription from their account.
