If you’ve ever sent us a question after office hours or over the weekend, you’ll know that sometimes that email won’t get answered until the next business day. Imagine if you could get the answer to your own question without having to wait for a response from a support agent. This is what Guide is for. Guide is a new reference tool that has answers to many common questions about BrainHQ.
Here’s how it works: say you’re on BrainHQ and you want more information about a topic. Click on the “help” button on the BrainHQ website, find your way to Guide:
From the Guide landing page there are two ways to find what you’re looking for: either use the search bar to search for articles using a few key words, or browse through the categories.
Using the Search Bar
To use the search bar, type in your question or a few key words and then hit "enter" or "return" on your keyboard. Any related results will appear, and you can click on an article to read more about that topic.
While you're searching, you may see a thumbs up icon next to an article's title:
This means that while searching for an answer to their question, someone else read that article and found it helpful and gave it a thumbs up. Articles that have more thumbs up will be listed higher in the search results during future searches.
If you search for an article and find it helpful, scroll to the bottom of the article to give it a thumbs up! This helps produce better search results for the next person with a similar question. Here's an example of what that would look like:
Browsing Categories
If you would rather not use the search bar, or if you're having a hard time finding a specific article, you can browse our articles by categories. Click on a category that would be relevant to your search and then look from the list of articles available.
Browsing and reading through articles is another great way of learning more about BrainHQ!
Promoted Articles
Every now and then there is some exciting news about BrainHQ - if this is ever the case, we'll create an article and list it as a Promoted Article. Promoted Articles are easily accessible from the Guide homepage, and we'll do our best to make sure that any current events or promotions are posted there.
Can't find an answer to your question?
On the off-chance you aren't able to find what you're looking for, you can still send us an email by clicking "Submit a Request" on the Guide homepage. If you do submit a request, please be sure to include your name and BrainHQ account email address so that we can assist you quicker.
