Newly registered BrainHQ accounts are set to receive emails from us by default. This includes our monthly newsletter and occasional promotional messages. You can opt your users out of our emails. If you don’t want your group members to get emails from us, you can turn off emails for your members’ accounts in your group settings. (Note: This does not apply to vital emails like password resets.) To do this, follow these steps:
- Log into your admin account at www.brainhq.com.
- Click “Groups” at the top of the page.
- Click the “Settings” tab.
- Click on the “Edit” icon that appears when you hold your mouse over the option in the “Receive Email” column.
- Set to ’No’ to block newsletters and promotional email. Set to ‘Defer’ to defer to the setting that the member has chosen. (If they’ve opted out of emails from us previously, they won’t be opted back in automatically.)
- Click “Continue >” to save your selection.
- Click the “Save Changes” that appears above to save your setting. (Note: This button only appears if changes have been made under the settings tab.)
