Being introduced to new people can be nerve-wracking. In most cases, you’re expected to—and probably also would like to—remember that person’s face, name, and whatever else you learned about them. This is a skill that can help make us all feel more confident and comfortable in situations where we meet new people. It can also help us build and maintain positive relationships with others. When a person shares a piece of information with you about their life, it can feel almost rude to forget it—even through no fault of your own.
Face Facts is one of the exercises from BrainHQ’s People Skills category. In Fact Facts you’ll be introduced to several people and learn facts about them. Your task in Face Facts is to then recall these facts when prompted.
Here’s how the exercise works:
- An image of the first person is shown with several facts about them listed underneath. Remember this information.
- Once you’ve read the facts, select “Next” to be introduced to the next person.
- Continue to press “Next” and read through profiles until the questionnaire begins.
- An image of one of the people you’ve been introduced to will appear, along with several facts on screen. Select the fact that is true of the person displayed.
If an incorrect answer is given, you’ll hear a “bonk” sound and you may not need to remember as many faces and facts in following turns. If a correct answer is given, you’ll hear a “boop” sound and you may be asked to remember more faces and facts in following turns. In both cases the level then continues, repeating from Step 1 above.
